Krishnapriya Pradeep is a psychology professional with postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology and practical experience across clinical psychology, psychiatry, de addiction and organisational settings.
Her clinical experience includes psychological assessment, case history taking, counselling, Mental Status Examination, psychiatric intake and follow up work, as well as psychoeducation for patients and caregivers.
At Aster MIMS Hospital in Kannur, she supported clinical psychology services under supervision, contributing to psychiatric intake interviews, case history collection, psychological assessments and multidisciplinary case discussions.
She also gained experience within the Psychiatry and De addiction Department at Assumption Hospital in Wayanad, where she participated in psychiatric assessments and follow up sessions, conducted Mental Status Examinations and supported psychoeducation and relapse prevention work.
Her research experience includes examining resilience, perceived social support and quality of life among mothers of differently abled children, alongside research exploring the relationship between appearance and mental health.
Krishnapriya is particularly interested in creating a supportive environment where people feel heard and understood. Her approach combines empathy, active listening and psychological knowledge, with an emphasis on ethical and client centred support.
